The 2024 silver Koala coin is the 18th piece forming the Australian Koala series. Coins in the Australian Koala series have been produced since 2007. Importantly, the design of the coins is subject to annual changes, making them particularly suitable for collectors.
The bullion coin depicting a koala was struck from pure Ag silver.9999, with a weight of one troy ounce and a diameter of 40.9 mm. Koala 2024 has the added collector’s perk of a limited edition.

Reverse shows an image of an adult koala. The reverse side bears the weight, purity and year of production and the inscription “KOALA”, as well as the letter “P”, which indicates that the manufacturer of the coin is the Perth Mint.
